§ — Services

MEP design &
engineering systems
design.

MEP design — mechanical, electrical and plumbing — is the engineering layer that makes a building work: heating and cooling, ventilation, power, light, water, drainage and fire safety. MEP Trade provides full engineering systems design for commercial, hospitality, industrial and residential buildings in Tbilisi and across Georgia.

One in-house team covers ten disciplines and delivers them as a single coordinated BIM model — so ducts, cable trays, pipes and sprinklers never fight for the same ceiling void, and the drawings that reach site actually build. From concept and permit documentation to tender-grade detailed design and author supervision, we carry the systems from first sketch to commissioning. See the results in our portfolio — Hilton and Radisson hotels, Tbilisi Mall, offices, hospitals, schools and residential complexes.

§ 01 — Disciplines

Ten disciplines,
one coordinated
project.

01
Heating, cooling and air-conditioning system design: heat load calculations, equipment selection, ductwork, zoning.
02
Ventilation design
Supply, exhaust and smoke-extract ventilation systems tuned to each space and use-case.
03
Electrical power design
Distribution, panel schedules, single-line diagrams, load analysis, generator and UPS integration.
04
Lighting design
Fixture specification, lighting controls, lux-level simulation for interiors and facades.
05
Plumbing & water supply design
Hot and cold water, pumping stations, treatment, full supply calculations.
06
Sewage & drainage design
Sanitary and storm drainage, grey-water recovery, below-grade routing.
07
Sprinklers, hydrants, fire alarm and detection, smoke control, compartmentation per local code.
08

§ 02 — FAQ

Questions we
hear most often.

What is MEP design?

MEP stands for mechanical, electrical and plumbing. MEP design is the engineering design of a building's heating and cooling, ventilation, power supply, lighting, water, drainage and fire protection systems — everything behind the walls and above the ceilings that makes a building habitable and safe.

What does an MEP design project cost?

The fee depends on floor area, building function and the disciplines involved. Send us the architectural concept through the contact form and we will return a written proposal with scope and cost, usually within a few working days.

Which stages do you deliver?

All of them: concept design, schematic design, detailed (tender-grade) design with specifications and bills of quantities, plus author supervision during construction and as-built documentation at handover.

Do you work in BIM?

Yes — all ten disciplines are modelled in Revit in a single coordinated model, with clash detection between systems and automated quantity take-offs.
