What is MEP design?
MEP stands for mechanical, electrical and plumbing. MEP design is the engineering design of a building's heating and cooling, ventilation, power supply, lighting, water, drainage and fire protection systems — everything behind the walls and above the ceilings that makes a building habitable and safe.
What does an MEP design project cost?
The fee depends on floor area, building function and the disciplines involved. Send us the architectural concept through the contact form and we will return a written proposal with scope and cost, usually within a few working days.
Which stages do you deliver?
All of them: concept design, schematic design, detailed (tender-grade) design with specifications and bills of quantities, plus author supervision during construction and as-built documentation at handover.
Do you work in BIM?
Yes — all ten disciplines are modelled in Revit in a single coordinated model, with clash detection between systems and automated quantity take-offs.
What is included in a permit-stage design package?
The permit-stage (building permit) package contains the MEP drawings, calculations and explanatory notes that Georgian authorities require for approval: system schematics, main equipment and routes, power and water demand, and fire safety measures. We then develop it into a detailed working design for construction.
Can I order a single discipline, such as only HVAC or only fire protection?
Yes. Each discipline can be ordered on its own — for example only the HVAC design, the ventilation design or the fire protection design — and we coordinate it with the architect's and other consultants' drawings.
Do you design projects outside Tbilisi?
Yes. We design buildings across Georgia, including Batumi, Kutaisi and the Black Sea coast, and support construction with author supervision on site.
